Attention to All Users of Arcade1up Tron:

Please be advised that the operating system of the arcade1up device has disabled the adjustability of the sensitivity of the USB mouse device. As a result, our DOT spinner is unable to adjust the sensitivity on the arcade1up tron machine. We apologize for any inconvenience this high-sensitivity issue may have caused our customers. While we have not yet found a better solution, we will notify users separately if we do. In the meantime, we will continue to search for a solution. If your spinner on the arcade1up machine is broken, please contact arcade1up customer service for assistance. If you are willing to try our spinner with its high sensitivity and adapt to this type of gameplay, you may still choose our spinner.

Great for 360 degree wheel games, but not games that need precision

I mounted the TS-DOT-02 in front of my 4-player cabinet along with the 8" wheel attachment. It is awesome for that purpose, because it sticks out far enough for my knuckles to fit between it and the console and the wheel size is the largest of on the market. I dislike mounting the wheel horizontally, because it's like driving a bus that way. In a pinch, one can also use the push-pull for simple gear shifting and brake. The TS-DOT-02 is ok for normal spinner games like Arakanoid and it is impossible to use the push/pull as mouse buttons to navigate windows, because the spinner moves too much every time you try to double-click it. It is ok for Tron but a bit touchy for Discs of Tron. For standard spinner games, I still need to use my existing spinner mounted horizontally, but that causes freezing sometimes upon boot up. Still looking for an all-in-one solution that doesn't freeze up, but even though I didn't plan for it, I think I am happy with 2 different spinners for different purposes (the TS-DOT-02 mounted vertically and a different one mounted horizontally). The only disadvantage is that it takes over my player 2 push-coin slot.

Not for Arcade1Up TRON

Even though it is advertised as a replacement for Arcade1Up TRON, the sensitivity is set far too high with no way to adjust. When I contacted support I was told to get used to it even though they promised a firmware update. Would not recommend and will not purchase any further products from this company.

Here was the reply to the complaint:

"While this product may have excessive sensitivity on the Arcade1up Tron, we've found that it can become acceptable with use. If you're unsatisfied, we accept returns and apologize for any inconvenience."

I didn't really want a refund. I wanted the promised product I bought in good faith to work as advertised. Buyer beware.
