Important Disclaimer for the GRS iiRcade KVM System

Please review the following limitations and disclaimers before purchasing the GRS iiRcade KVM System:

1. Headphone Jack Incompatibility: The original iiRcade headphone jack is incompatible with the GRS iiRcade KVM system. 

2. Display Limitation During System Switching: When switching between the iiRcade and GRS Viper SBC, the display may occasionally shrink horizontally due to compatibility issues with the iiRcade’s internal display detection mechanism. While we cannot resolve this issue directly, rebooting the iiRcade system will restore the display to normal. Please follow this workaround whenever the issue occurs.

3. Display Issues on Standard Edition: The GRS iiRcade KVM system utilizes an HDMI switcher. However, the iiRcade standard edition arcade machine was originally designed for LVDS output, not HDMI. As a result, some games may not display correctly. This issue arises because the system must convert the iiRcade’s display from LVDS to HDMI before it can switch between displays.

4. Input Mode Limitations: The built-in encoder board in the GRS iiRcade KVM system allows switching between Keyboard, DINPUT, and XINPUT modes (hold down volume up and volume down for 5 seconds). Note that in XINPUT mode, the volume controls are disabled due to driver limitations.

5. Risk of Damage and Liability: The installation of the GRS iiRcade KVM system is not intended to harm the original iiRcade electronics. However, the modding process inherently carries risks, including electrostatic discharge, wiring harness breakage, and power shortages that could damage the electronics of both the iiRcade and the KVM system. We do not take responsibility for damages to the iiRcade motherboard or software system incurred during installation. Ensure that all power cables are properly managed and not at risk of shorting. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the absence of risk and do not have the capability to repair iiRcade-related boards.

6. Warranty Voidance: Modifying your iiRcade machine with this kit will void its warranty. Although iiRcade has ceased operations, it is important to note this effect.

7. Electrical Safety Warning: Modifying your machine without removing power can lead to electrical shock and poses health and safety risks. Always use the static gloves provided and ensure that the machine is completely disconnected from power before starting the mod.

8. Power Supply: The GRS iiRcade KVM system does not include a separate power supply. Please use the original iiRcade power supply to operate the system.

9. USB Hub Power Supply: The USB hub in the GRS control panel cannot be powered through the KVM system. Instead, the USB hub's power supply must be connected directly to a wall outlet or power strip. Ensure that the USB hub is properly powered to maintain functionality and avoid any potential issues.
